2020 Legislative Conference recap

Monday and Tuesday, February 10th and 11th, some members of the BAKFC took the trip to downtown Indianapolis to participate in Indiana Builders Association’s Housing and Legislative Conference as well as their Board of Directors and Committee meetings.
Monday was spent hearing from IBA staff about what is happening in the Statehouse this legislative session before taking the trip to our state capitol. We got to each lunch and mingle with some of Indiana’s state representatives. We spent the afternoon in a Board Meeting, with the other members of the Indiana Builders Association. We heard reports from various members of the Adam Clemens and Sam Beachy participated in a corn hole tournament, but sadly did not win.
Our group also got the opportunity to with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb. IBA President, Brett Harter, announced that for the first time in the 68 year history that IBA would be supporting Governor Holcomb’s reelection campaign.
